The Big Ticket Preview: Junior Girls

The Junior Girls division at The Big Ticket is poised to display the talents of tomorrow, today!
20 different teams will battle it out over the course of a week to determine who will be victorious come Friday at Abbotsford Senior.
For the Seaquam Seahawks, the chance to play high-quality competition right off the start was too good to pass up.
"[Our goal is to] play some great teams early in the season in a well-run tournament," said head coach Lucky Toor "and identify our strengths and weaknesses."
Seaquam should be one of the favourites for the title — they're returning four talented starters from last season.
"Shaunti Gill is a 6’1 returning starting centre that should be a force all season" explained Toor. " Amar Thiara is a returning starting PG who can run the floor and lead the fast break, make sound decisions and attack fearlessly.
Baani Rajput is a returning starting guard who has incredible speed and control and gets a ton of steals, and Jasmine Sidhu is a guard who is the team’s best shooter and a great leader."

Junior Girls games will be held at two locations, Burnaby Mountain and MEI in Abbotsford. The games at Burnaby Mountain will be held two at a time, at 3:00 p.m. and at 4:45 pm. Games at MEI will be staggered starting at 3:00 p.m, with the last game starting at 8:15 p.m.
