Players to watch out for at the 2020 Boys Provincials

It's finally time.

Boys Provincials start tomorrow and 64 teams across four different tournaments will battle it out for the chance to become provincial champions.

Here are some players, in no particular order, we at BC Sports Hub think you should keep your eye on.

Dominic Parolin, Centennial

One of the most dominant players in the province, a good tournament by him gives the Centaurs a great shot to win the 4A provincials. His ability to alter shots — and block a lot of them — on defence and put up points on offence make him a complete player that can lead a team to a championship.

Uyi Ologhola, Holy Cross

Ologhola has been playing senior ball for a few years now but in his senior season, he's really stepped up his game. From leading the comeback against Vancouver College at the BC Catholics final, his all-around game could lend themselves to a run at provincials.

Hunter Cruz-Dumont, Vancouver College

Vancouver College looked in danger of missing provincials earlier in the season but turned their campaign around to win the inaugural Vancouver Sea to Sky 4A Championship. A big reason why was the play of Cruz-Dumont, a smooth guard who can not only create his own shot but get his teammates involved as well.

Zachary Klim, GW Graham

One of the most dominant big men in 3A ball this past season, Klim and the Grizzlies are an interesting team to look out for at provincials. Perhaps overlooked because of the two big favourites in Duchess Park and Vernon, if Klim can string together a big tournament then GW has a great chance to take the banner.
