Grace Killins off to Simon Fraser next season

The strong recruiting class continues for the SFU women’s basketball program. They have added another top player from the province in Centennial’s Grace Killins, who will join the team for the 2019 season.

[Grace Killins] has arguably the nicest looking shot in the province” said Anthony Beyrouti, head coach of VK Basketball. “She was shooting from deep range all season and she played her best in the biggest games against the best teams in America.”

Killins game has been moulded by her dad Bryan, who helped put her game together starting at a very young age.

“You can notice the difference in her game” Beyrouti commented. “She’s consistently improved her game during the high school season and has added to it during the summers. It’s been great to watch.”

“I decided to join SFU because I could have the opportunity to be apart of an amazing academic and basketball program” Killins said “while still being minutes away from home and close to family.”

Killins will join fellow VK teammate Jessica Wisotzki next season up on Burnaby Mountain. The two won the national championship together at BballNationals in August.
