Four Players to watch at the 2020 Girls Basketball Provincials
Starting tomorrow morning, the province's basketball community will gather together at the Langley Events Centre for the start of the provincial championship. It's bound to be four days of great basketball, with some great players battling it out for the coveted blue banner.
Here are four players, in no particular order, we at BC Sports Hub think you should keep your eye on.
1. Surprise Munie
One of the best one on one players in the province, Surprise Munie should be a force at provincials. Her ability to drive to the hoop hit mid-range shots, and draw fouls should make here a possible MVP candidate. Along with teammate Shemiah Abatayo, the Brittania Bruins are poised for a big run at provincials.

2. Sophia Wizotski
Perhaps it's three times the charm for Walnut Grove this year?
After losing out in the previous two provincial finals, the Gators have a good shot of winning that 4A banner. This time, however, they're led by Sophia Wizotski. The two-time Defensive Player has become the team's go-to scorer, hitting three's with regularity this whole season.

3. Marin Lenz
Ever since the Timberwolves Classic Final, the Abbotsford Senior Panthers have been on an absolute roll.
They've clinched the number one seed in the 3A division and a large part of it is thanks to the stellar play of Marin Lenz. The sharpshooting guard not only can put up 20+ points on a regular basis, but she can also dish it out as well.

4. Makenna Gardner
Langley Christian might be the deepest team in provincials, regardless of tier and Makenna Gardner is the undisputed leader on the floor. Her vision and willingness to get people involved, plus her scoring ability on her own makes the SFU commit a must-watch player.
