Brentwood College cruised past the Seycove Seyhawks

Brentwood came out of the gates with dominance on their minds, forcing the Seyhawks to 4/20 shooting in the first quarter, by stretching out defense to limit the 3 ball from Seycove.

The Seyhawks struggled to keep Brentwood off the glass, to slow them down in transition and to guard their dribble penetration. Brentwood ended the 1st quarter 26-12, and extended their lead to 37-19 halfway through the 2nd quarter. The largest lead of the 1st half was 47-25, for Brentwood, who went into the halftime break with a comfortable 47-29 lead.

To start the 2nd half Brentwood showed no letdowns, going on a 7-0 run to take a 54-29 lead, and pushed it to 60-31, before a much needed timeout by Seyhawks to stop the bleeding. Everything seem to be going well for Brentwood, who held a 31pts lead halfway in the 3rd. The Seyhawks’ offensive struggles continued, as Brentwood scored layups after layups on almost every one of their missed shot or turnovers.
