BC AA Girls Provincials - Day 3 Previews & Match-ups
South Kamloops Titans vs. St. Aquinas Fighting Saints

The Titans are on a rampage to win—and this may just be the battle of the day on the AA side of the tournament.
In their game against the Langley Christian Lightning, Coach Komarniski admits his team made too many mistakes, something they’ll need to fix in order to come out with the W against STA.
As for the Fighting Saints, the Clarke sisters dominated the paint in their second matchup against the Huskies, but the team also had their faults, too.
Coach John Prescott says anyone could have won it. In regards to tonight’s competition, he acknowledges his Saints need to have the game of their life.
“We have to be giant slayers. South Kam is on a roll, I’m not too sure if they’ve lost at all this year. But we bring the same thing every game: we have depth and we have players that want to work really hard.”

Come watch the St. Thomas Aquinas Fighting Saints take as they clash with the South Kamloops Titans on Friday, March 2nd at 7:00pm in the South Court of the Langley Events Centre.
Britannia Bruins vs. GW Graham Grizzlies

The Bruins had a healthy lead in their second round of Provincials versus the Vernon Panthers, with 2/4 top scorers hitting double-digits.
Player of the game, Shemaiah Abatayo, says the whole team will need to show up if they want to take out the Grizzlies.
Despite their win, Britannia showed a few weak spots in comparison to their usual play, incurring one too many fouls against them.
GW Graham clawed through their last matchup, just barely defeating the Duchess Park Condors. Coach Sarah Mouritzen says the team has struggled to beat Britannia, losing twice to them in the past.
However, the Grizzly girls have speed and endurance on the court. Aside from that, their eyes gleam with gold—so they ain’t going down without a fight, either.
Catch the GW Graham Grizzlies as they take on the Britannia Bruins on Friday, March 2nd at 8:45pm in the South Court of the Langley Events Centre.
